Each Child Unique. Each Child Talented. All Children Cherished.

South Belfast Cross Country

The P6 and P7 runners in St. Ita's did themselves and their school proud  today at the South Belfast heats of the Belfast City Council Cross-Country races.

Despite coming up against lots of other strong schools, and the ground being soft with so much rain recently, our runners really dug in and gave it their all.

We had lots of our runners get Top 10 finishes which meant they got to receive medals for their efforts.

A special mention goes to Alice and Conan who got onto the podium for their Top 3 finishes!

It was also lovely to see so many of the pupils wearing our new jerseys and ¼ zip tops at the races today. We were able to get these with the generous help of the PTFA.

Well done to everyone who ran today! You were all a credit to the school!
