Mrs Duffy's P5 class created these spooky Halloween lanterns with the help of Mrs Malone. They look amazing!
Joseph from Mrs Fogarty's P6 class has been at two competitions over the last few weeks. At the UK Taekwondo Open Championships, he won a bronze and a silver medal and at the Irish National Championships in Dublin he won bronze. Well done Joseph on your amazing achievements. What a talent!
On Monday in school we celebrated Diwali by creating a display for the foyer. We also completed art and craft activities in class
and watched a PowerPoint presentation on the story of Diwali.
Diwali is a national Indian festival of lights that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

One of puzzles we tackled during Maths Week in P6
A big thank you to the PSNI who met families in the Park and Ride to talk about road safety. There was a fabulous turn out of pupils and families actively travelling to school.
The officers spoke to P6 and P7 classes about how to walk safely to and from the Park & Ride.
They advised children to wear bright clothes to help be seen in the darker morning.
The boys and girls in the Cross Country squad enjoyed a successful day out at the first round of the Flahavan’s Primary School Cross Country League.
Both teams ranked first place overall in County Down with 4 medals won. Well done!
