Healthy Eating Lunch Box Competition
Our January ‘Feel Good Friday’ was a celebration of Healthy Eating and its link to wellbeing. The Mini Wellbeing Champions designed a Healthy Eating Quiz (complete with tiebreaker!) that the classes did. The children also got the opportunity to enter a Healthy Eating Lunchbox Competition where they had to think creatively and healthily when designing a lunchbox meal.
The winners were announced at a Wellbeing Assembly with Miss Houston. Each year group had two children winning ‘Highly Commended’ who received certificates and a ‘Year Group Winner’ who won a lunchbox with healthy snacks inside.
During the assembly, Miss Houston also focused on the topic of ‘Sharing Worries’. The children listened to a story about sharing worries and Miss Houston explained that each class will now have a Worry Monster for the children to write in if they wish.
