P4 Art Workshop
P4 enjoyed a visit and art workshop from local artist Eimear Campbell this morning. The focus of the visit was to celebrate the Irish language through art. Each group was given an Irish word / phrase and had to brainstorm and draw images that came to mind. The children worked collaboratively on a large piece of artwork related to their given Irish word or phrase. They mixed paints, painted the background and then drew different images on top. The boys and girls’ artwork will be on display in the Island Arts Centre, Lisburn, from next Monday 3rd March.
