Mrs Gillespie's Class have a special day to remember Niamh.

Sunday 31st May marked the first anniversary of our beautiful pupil, Niamh Beattie. Niamh was diagnosed with

non-Hodgkin lymphoma and sadly passed away last year on 31st May 2019, 14 months after her diagnosis. Niamh was on a gymnastics squad, winning competitions and practising day and night. She was the fastest runner in her year, always winning at sports day, and was a very strong swimmer and a great Irish dancer. Niamh was simply a bundle of joy. Niamh is greatly missed by her mum Orla, dad Stephen, brother Darragh and the new arrival of baby Ria who was born just three months before Niamh died. We think of Niamh’s family circle and all her P5 class mates. We want them all to know that our whole school community is thinking of them and offering a special prayer for Niamh who is now under God’s special care in heaven.

Follow the link below for Niamh’s story and information of the charity established to raise funds for research into anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL).
