St Ita’s Student Representatives Visit Parliament Buildings, Stormont.
The Primary 6 and 7 student representatives and Mrs Browne were delighted to accept an invitation to attend Parliament Buildings on Thursday 21st October. We enjoyed a tour of the Great Hall and debated in the Council Chamber where our MLAs meet regularly . We also learned how we can become MLAs and how to propose a Bill in in the Assembly. We extend a big thank you to the Education Officer, Anne-Marie Fleming, for sharing so much information with us. We had a very enjoyable and informative morning.
