Each Child Unique. Each Child Talented. All Children Cherished.
In P6 we have been learning about Rainforests. We are creating our own artistic representation of the wonderful plants and animals that are there.
We are so proud of our girls’ Gaelic team who came runners up in the @AontroimCnamB indoor tournament this week. Some wonderful football skills, teamwork and determination on show. An extremely close competition decided on goal difference. Congratulations to all teams involved.
Kate Nicholl, one of the MLAs for South Belfast, invited a group of St Ita's pupils to watch a training session with DHL Stormers from Zimbabwe. The boys got to meet the team, ask questions and collect many autographs. They had a fantastic time. A big thank you to Kate for this wonderful opportunity.
St. Ita's competed in the final of the Cumann na mbunscol indoor competition on Thursday 26th January in the Colin Glen Air Dome. Despite a narrow loss in the first game, the boys played phenomenally well and won each of their remaining 4 games against some very tough opposition. The defending was tenacious, the passing was excellent and the scoring was impressive. The boys just missed out on first place but they did their school proud. The performances today bode well for the championships in the summer. Well done boys!
