Dear Colleagues/Parents,
Due to the amber weather warning currently in place and after consultation with other school
Principals in the South Belfast Area, we have taken the decision to close the school tomorrow, Tuesday 27th January.
As school leaders we have a duty of care to everyone in our school community.
We apologise for the short notice and look forward to seeing all our pupils again on Wednesday 28th January.
Kind regards
Geraldine Hanna

Catholic Schools Week is being celebrated in our school this week. The theme this year is 'Normal Lives, Called to Holiness.'
A very special part of Catholic Schools Week is that we celebrate Grandparents' Day, a truly special occasion, that is one of the highlights of the year for our pupils.
This year, when hopefully the weather is milder, we look forward to welcoming our grandparents for Grandparents' Day on Friday 20th of March. We will also remember
those grandparents who are no longer with us.
As part of our celebrations, we are creating a 'Grandparents Tree' display and it would be lovely to include photographs of your child's grandparents. Please ensure your child's name is on the back of all photographs so that they can be returned safely to you.
On this Feast Day of St Ita, may the light of her faith fill our school community with God’s peace, joy, and love. Through her example of compassion and trust in Christ, may we continue to grow together as a community rooted in faith.
We celebrated this special day in school by participating
in Mass in the Class with Fr Michael.
The Student Council attended mass in the church this morning with Mrs Hanna and Miss Sloan. It was a lovely celebration.
