Each Child Unique. Each Child Talented. All Children Cherished.
P7 are having a great time in Carlingford!
Our P7 Eco Council Representatives proudly attended Lagan Valley Island to receive their Green Flag, presented by the Live Here Love Here team and Mayor Brian Higginson. They were celebrated as an Ambassador School for our work in biodiversity and outdoor learning. They also enjoyed an inspiring “Save Our Oceans” workshop.
Yesterday the Primary 6 and 7 children enjoyed their last Mandarin class of the year. The children have been collecting 'panda stamps' all year for their fantastic work in Mandarin. Today they got to total their stamps and have a 'lucky dip' into Miss Pang's wonderful prize bag. The children loved being rewarded for their hard work throughout the year. Thank you so much to Miss Pang who has worked so hard with the children creating fantastic interactive lessons that the children have really enjoyed. We will miss you Miss Pang when you return to China, we really enjoyed your time here in St Ita's over the last two years.
Goodbye and all the best Miss Pang!!!!
Some photos of last Friday’s Sports Day.
During the month of June, we pray in a special way to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Today, we were delighted to receive a beautiful statue of the Sacred Heart, kindly gifted by Mrs Allen’s mother.
Throughout June, we will share meaningful prayers during our assemblies, helping the children to reflect and prepare for the Feast of the Sacred Heart on 12th June.
We invite you to join us at home by saying this simple prayer with your children:
“O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.”
