Una O’Hara, President of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Drumbo, St Vincent de Paul visited St Ita's to receive a cheque from Mrs Browne and two P7 pupils, Ellie and James for £856. Pupils raised the funds by holding a movie afternoon.
Our Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for AWARE NI last Friday raised the fantastic amount of £1112.27. We would like to thank everyone for their generosity
Ryan from Mrs Gillespie's P5 class and Emma from Ms Harkin's P3 class got to dance for Amy Mae Dolan, lead dancer in Riverdance and ex Carson Academy World Champion dancer at the Carson Academy Christmas Class Assessments. Amy Mae assessed each of their dances and gave personal feedback to Ryan and Emma. An amazing experience and one they will remember for years to come.

The snowmen have invaded St Ita's. Jamie from Mr Murphy's P3 class and his Grandad Woods made the snowmen and brought them into school. Look out to see where they turn up!

The P6 and P7 hurlers travelled to Brooke Leisure Centre this week to take part in the Cumann na mBunscol indoor blitz.
They played 4 games in total against Bunscoil
Phobal Feirste, St Therese of Lisieux, Gaelscoil na Mona and Ballymacward PS.
After some tough battles, the boys finished the day undefeated with a win and three draws. This wasn't quite enough to get us through to the finals, but the boys should be extremely proud of their efforts. Well played boys!
