Eve from Miss Houston's P4 class won her 1st gold medal on Sunday at the N.I. Taekwon-Do Championships in Lisburn. Eve won a Gold medal in the pattern category (under 9s) and was runner-up in special technique category. Congratulations Eve - Well done!
St Ita's pupils, Eilish, Laura, Tara, Aoife and Anna were part of the Queens basketball team that recently won the BNI league Under 12s. The team were undefeated the entire season. Congratulations girls.

A wonderful array of musical talent was on show at St Ita's Annual Music Recital. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all our enthusiastic and talented Music Tutors for their expertise, encouragement and guidance of our young musicians this year. Thanks to Wilson Shields for supporting the children with his beautiful piano accompaniment.
A final word of thanks must go to our Music Co-ordinators Ms Harkin and Mrs Taggart for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Mrs Browne invited Michelle Guy, MLA for Lagan Valley, back to St Ita's.
Michelle joined P7 pupils, parents and staff to celebrate the role of 'Mothers' in our lives.
At the end of assembly, Mrs Browne thanked Michelle for the amazing work she did for our school as Councillor for Castlereagh South. The school community is grateful for the time she committed, ensuring St Ita's quest for a safer route to school remained a high priority. Michelle, was so giving of her time, and for that we are so very grateful.
