Each Child Unique. Each Child Talented. All Children Cherished.
The St. Ita's Development Cup gaelic football squad took part in and won an epic final against St. John the Baptist PS last week.
It was close throughout with some excellent skills on show from both teams but as the final whistle blew, it was the boys from St. Ita's who had come out on top!
The game was nip and tuck for the whole 40 minutes and it took real grit and determination for our boys to get over the line.
The game finished 5-2 to 2-3 in the end and our joint captains, Ben and Conall collected the trophy on behalf of the squad.
As always, they all wore the jerseys proudly and were a credit to their school.
Well done boys!
