Mrs Barr's P4 Class Assembly

We are delighted to share the amazing news that St Ita’s came first in the Credit Union Regional Final this afternoon, Chapter 3,  Competition B for 10-12 year olds. It was very tense with two sets of tie breaker rounds.  The team has now made it through to the All Ireland Grand Final in Dublin which we believe will be 7th April tbc. We were the only school to have two teams make it through to Competition  A (slightly younger P7’s) and Competition B regional finals. What an achievement for these young people! A big thank you to the whole P7 team for all their work…, let’s keep it going for Dublin!!!

Day 6 gets off to a great start! The skiing conditions were fantastic - clear skies and wonderful powdery snow! Both groups loved the day & the views. In the afternoon we headed into town for ice-cream, shopping and pizza 🍕 Ready for our final day of skiing ⛷️

Day 4. A winter wonderland today. Super skiing through the trees today in heavy snow.

Today both groups had great fun learning how to use the different ski lifts and practising their turning and stopping on the slopes. The boys and girls then ventured into Folgaria town centre this evening! We visited an Italian jewellery shop and a jeweller showed us how he makes the jewellery. He even taught us some Italian! We also sampled some ‘real’ Italian hot chocolate! Delizioso!
