  • Road Safety

    Wed 19 Oct 2022

A big thank you to the PSNI who met families in the Park and Ride to talk about road safety. There was a fabulous turn out of pupils and families actively travelling to school.

The officers spoke to P6 and P7 classes about how to walk safely to and from the Park & Ride.

They advised children to wear bright clothes to help be seen in the darker morning.

  • Well Done Mikey!

    Mon 10 Oct 2022

Mikey from P6 swam at the weekend for St Itas in the Swim Ulster Schools Primary Championships.

He won his 50M backstroke heat with a new Personal Best (PB) of 48.51s.

He followed this up with qualification for the 100m Individual Medley.

In the final backstroke final, Mikey finished 7th overall. Unfortunately due to illness, he was forced to withdraw from the 100m IM final.

Mikey was extremely proud to represent St Ita's to say the least!

Well Done Mikey! Everyone in St. Ita's is extremely proud of you.
