  • Cross Country Success

    Thu 09 Jan 2025

Despite the cold and mucky conditions in Newcastle, our cross-country runners performed brilliantly, just before Christmas. The competition was fierce with plenty of competing schools.

Both the girls and boys teams were fantastic, with the girls coming joint first with the lowest combined scores and the boys coming second with the second lowest combined score.

This is a great achievement for all involved, well done!

Moving forward to the next round, we wish all the runners the best of luck.

  • St Ita's 20th Anniversary Charity Gala Ball

  • Noah the Fabulous Fundraiser

    Tue 07 Jan 2025

A huge congratulations to Noah from Ms Flanagan's P6 class who raised an incredible £2,063.60 for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. Noah has been selected for TeamNI as part of the Barcelona Experience and will be heading to Spain in May for the Nations Cup tournament. The children are allowed to get sponsored and display logos on their kit. Noah and his family thought it would be a lovely idea to support a charity and approached the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice to fundraise and to display their logo on his kit to help give the charity some exposure. Noah's fundraising efforts included taking part in the Festive 5k at the V36 Valley Park where he came 38th out of 430 runners that included mostly adults. He also spent two hours in Tesco Newtownbreda doing a bucket collection. The class and their parents were significant contributors to this total and Noah and his family are so thankful for everyone’s generosity. Noah, your hard work and kindness are truly inspiring. Well done!
