    On this Feast Day of St Ita, may the light of her faith fill our school community with God’s peace, joy, and love. Through her example of compassion and trust in Christ, may we continue to grow together as a community rooted in faith.

     

    We celebrated this special day in school by participating

    in Mass in the Class with Fr Michael.

    The Student Council attended mass in the church this morning with Mrs Hanna and Miss Sloan. It was a lovely celebration.

  • Miss Lawlor's P4 Class Assembly

    The first Class Assembly of the New Year saw Miss Lawlor's P4 class speak to us about resilience, a topic we have been researching throughout the school. P4 illustrated the theme of resilience beautifully, by telling the story, Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae. What a wonderful way to kick off the New Year.

  • Farewell to Two Amazing Members of our St Ita's Family

    Just before Christmas, we said goodbye to two incredible, long-standing members of our school community. Mrs Gibson and Mrs Nethercott have officially retired, and while we’ll miss their kindness, dedication, and smiles every day, we’re excited for the next chapter in their lives.

    Thank you both for everything you’ve done for St Ita’s – you’ve left a lasting mark on our hearts.

  • Henry Publishes his Latest Book

    Author, Henry from Mrs Fanning's P7 class has returned to his writing and has produced his first work in almost 2 years. Grim 5 is the latest installment in his Grim collection. Henry also designed and produced the cover. With Mum proof reading and Dad printing, Henry has kept all aspects of the publication in house!

    Henry commented, "Grim hasn't be made in over a year!

    The storyline is complex. I hope that you enjoy it, if you are brave enough to read it.

    All I can say is that there will be..........."

  • A Christmas Recipe

    This morning saw our fifth and final Christmas Show of the season. P2 presented, 'A Christmas Recipe' to a packed house. What a wonderful way to wrap up our Christmas Shows. You can view the video of this amazing show by clicking here.

  • Leo Wins the Credit Union Art Competition

    Leo from Mrs Fanning's P7 class won the annual Credit Union Art Competition. The Theme was ‘the future is’. Leo won the Saintfield round and also chapter level (Northern Ireland). Her artwork has been entered into a third round and will go against artwork across all of Ireland. Good luck Leo in the All-Ireland Competition!
