Our P1 group are settling in brilliantly, enjoying their new class and classmates. There were lots of smiling faces on the P1 Humpty Dumpty Day. Watch this space to keep up to date with P1's progress!
We are back and looking forward to another year of fun filled learning. Be sure to visit the website Gallery over the coming weeks to see all that is happening in St Ita's.
Many Congratulations to Abi P7 and Luke Primary 5!
Abi came first place in the Primary 7 Musical Performance Category in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's 41st ANNUAL SCHOOLS’ ARTS COMPETITION. Abi was also invited to perform at the Gala Awards Ceremony. Abi's brother, Luke, came second in the Primary 5 category.
The Right Worshipful TheMayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council presented the prizes at the GALA AWARDS CEREMONY on Thursday 20 June 2024. We are so proud of both pupils!
Miss Harney has created a complete resource pack for St Ita's Nature Trail. She presented it to our Eco Committee to give it a test run. Thank you Miss Harney for such a wonderful gift.
Chloe from Mrs Fogarty’s P7 class features in a short film on BBC platforms about the rise of females in football. Chloe is an immensely talented girl. Follow the link to view - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0020rc6/two-minute-masterpiece-1-beyond-the-goal?seriesId=unsliced
Mrs McKeown from our school office is moving on to new challenges in the world of work. We are incredibly sorry to see her go but happy that she is chasing her dreams. P7 pupils created some beautiful cards to present to her. Mrs Mckeown's two girls are pupils at St Ita's so she won't be a stranger!
The P7 pupils held their Award Ceremony this week. Congratulations to our Award winners and all of our fabulous P7 group. Good luck on your onward journey.
