  • St Ita's Win Three Trophies

    Fri 28 Apr 2023

St Ita's  P6 & P7 gaelic footballers made the short trip to Carryduff GAC on Wednesday 19th April to compete in the Carryduff Primary School Blitz. Over 80 St. Ita's pupils took part with 3 boys' teams and 3 girls' teams representing our school. Every player did superbly well and after some tough battles against other local schools, St. Ita's ended up coming away with 3 trophies.

The skill and talent on show was excellent and a great day was had by everyone. Thank you to Carryduff GAC for hosting such a brilliant tournament and a massive thank you to Orla Napier for her tremendous work in organising such an occasion. Well done to all the boys and girls that took part.

    St. Ita's Amazing Music Recital!

On Thursday 30th March those parents and grandparents who attended St. Ita's Music Recital evening were treated to a wonderful celebration of musical talent within our school. The girls and boys who performed were absolutely brilliant; what an amazing show they put on for everyone!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our peripatetic music teachers, Mrs Ellen Briggs, Mr Wilson Shields, Miss Lisa McCrissican, Miss Kate Meszarosova and Mr Niall Warden for all the wonderful work they do with the musicians in our school. The biggest Thank you of all must go to Ms Harkin, our Music leader. She works so hard and organised the whole Music Recital Evening. It was such a wonderful success!
