  • Emma Plays at the National Stadium

    Wed 15 Nov 2023

I play football for the Carryduff Colts. My team were invited to play during half-time of the Northern Ireland V Hungary Ladies International on Halloween night. I was so excited and I didn't mind missing 'trick or treating'. I went to the game with my Dad.

Dora Zeller from the Hungary team scored and I was a bit disappointed. Then, at half-time, my team went on the field. My team scored and so did the other team. It was great fun. We left the field and the second half started. In the 79th minute, Danielle Maxwell ran up, took a shot and scored a beautiful goal. The crowd went wild. At the end the game finished one all. I loved playing because it was my first match in front of a big crowd!
