  • Carryduff Ladies - Ulster Champions

    Thu 11 Jan 2024

The Carryduff Ladies Minor team competed in and won the Ulster U18 Championship Final for the first time in the history of Carryduff GAC. Having won the Down league and Championship double earlier in the season, the girls made it all the way through to the Ulster Final where they faced the 2022 winners, Lurgan from Co. Cavan. Despite the underdog tag, Carryduff led throughout and deservedly won.

The girls, many of whom are past pupils of St. Ita's, came to visit us just before Christmas. They showed off their trophies and answered some questions that our boys and girls had. The boys and girls loved getting to see and hold the trophies and were very inspired to continue to pursue their own sports and interests.
