The first Class Assembly of the New Year saw Miss Lawlor's P4 class speak to us about resilience, a topic we have been researching throughout the school. P4 illustrated the theme of resilience beautifully, by telling the story, Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae. What a wonderful way to kick off the New Year.

Just before Christmas, we said goodbye to two incredible, long-standing members of our school community. Mrs Gibson and Mrs Nethercott have officially retired, and while we’ll miss their kindness, dedication, and smiles every day, we’re excited for the next chapter in their lives.
Thank you both for everything you’ve done for St Ita’s – you’ve left a lasting mark on our hearts.
Join us in wishing them all the best for the future!
