ADSUM Foundation is a Belfast based charitable foundation working to break the cycle of poverty in Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world. ADSUM support communities in Madagascar through their work across a number of areas including: education; clean water and sanitation; health; sustainable livelihoods. Through our partnership with ADSUM, St Ita’s has raised £797.40 to bring clean and safe water to communities in Madagascar. Our link with ADSUM has been a great opportunity for the pupils to learn about countries less fortunate than ourselves here in Northern Ireland. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the school community for supporting the ADSUM Foundation. It is greatly appreciated. Levi and Ethan presented the cheque to Mr Lonergan, who works for the ADSUM Foundation, before the school closed for the Christmas holidays.
